What you must do, when your costumer says yes
Imagine you have a 4-year old kid and you ask him, if he wants to eat soup? If he says yes, you must shut up immediately. The biggest mistake, parents (and especially grandparents) often do, is offering some additional foods to him, after he already chooses the soup. This situation causes confusion and child now doesn’t even know what he wants.
The pattern in business is identical to the story with child and the soup. So, as soon as your costumer says yes to your offer, please shut up and don’t try with additional explanations. Take the money first and then talk about benefits or things you wan’t to place stress on.
