Audi RS7 Concept

The Audi RS7 Concept is a design study of a sportscar that adopts and combines several styling cues from the Audi Group models, from the R8-inspired rear end to the Lamborghini-trademark scissor doors. The author is Austrian Adriano Mudri.

The Audi RS7 is a design study created by Austrian designer Adriano Mudri. The side view is inspired by the design of the R8 and like the Audi supercar it has a rear section – where the powerplant is located – in a contrasting color.

Some details of the powertrain emerge on the engine hood surface so that the different powertrain configurations are visible on the outside. The exterior design has also some reminescences of various VW/Audi Group cars: the front end and the descending character line on the side remind of the latest Seat sporty models, while the scissor doors are a trademark of Lamborghini sportscars.

Another distinctive feature is the lighting system which adopt minimal headlamps and tail lights which underline the possibilities of LED technology – another styling cue typical of Audi.

Adriano Mudri has an Industrial Design diploma from the University of Applied Sciences – Graz, Austria. Among his professional experiences are a 10-months period at Magna Steyr as exterior designer.
