3 Great Tips on Getting Organized for Kids and Parents

Going to school also means lots of stuff to take care of: homework, backpacks, school supplies, sports gear and more. Help your kids keep it all organized.

Kids learn by doing so don’t do the clean-up and organization for them

Keep labeled file folders, one for each family member, in a handy location. Use them as mailboxes, whic means that items from school go into them every afternoon and outgoing items are removed in the mourning.

Designate baskets or bins for toys and sports apparel. Have the kids make drawings to them.

Put items where you’ll use them: homework suppiles in the homework spot, boots and hats near the exit. Make sure thath shoes are left by the front door to prevent that last-minute-shoe-search madness.
