We all have times in life, when we don’t immediately get the results we want, but we have the opportunity to view this results from several angles.
People usually decide to look at certain unwanted results from the viewpoint which can bring even more bad results, although we all have the chance to learn from mistakes so we don’t repeat them. Unwanted results can be judged as failures or feedback and according to the approach we take we also set our way into the future.
Become a judge of your results. If you think of yourself as a failure, you set up a vicious circle that is very hard to break. On the other hand, if you take your results, no matter if positive or negative, as feedback, you’re setting up a linear chain of events which gives you the possibility to learn from it.
Use unwanted results as a tool for getting positive ones. Don’t let yourself to fall into rat-race circle of failure by analyzing why you failed in a particular situation, but rather determine the changes on how to act in a similar situation in the future. If you take every failure as a positive learning experience, you’re setting yourself up to succeed next time.
