Lose Extra Pounds by Drinking Water
Drinking water helps you to increase energy consumption and keeps you away from additional pounds. We explain you what’s behind it and how to use the water trick.
Anyone who wants to save a few calories in the cold season should drink water. Many scientifical studies have shown that drinking about half a liter of cold water before each meal has a twofold benefit – it suppresses the appetite during the meal and also subsequently lowers the consummation of calories throughout the day.
Always Drink Before the Meal
In one of the recent studies, US researchers at Virginia Tech found out that drinking water before a meal lowers the intake for approx 75 calories a meal. In addition, drinking water increases the energy consumption in overweight person by about 30 calories per meal and in normal weight person the energy consumption increases by about 50 calories. Drinking water also promotes water saturation, because food components swell better in the stomach. Just be careful and avoid pure fruit juices, because they contain lots of sugar.
